Welcome

Are you looking for ways to help your child but can’t find solutions that work?

Are you losing sleep because you are worried about your teen?

Over the last 18 years as a therapist, I have learned that one of the most valuable interventions I can offer is to

work with you–the parent.

Why?

Changing your behavior and interactions with your child/adolescent has a strong effect on their ability to work through depression, anxiety and related issues.

If you want to learn more, I’m ready when you are.

About Me

I have 25 years of experience as a researcher, a parent and a therapist that can help you find solutions for your family.

I attended Binghamton University as an undergraduate and then worked for 8 years in medical research at well-known institutions including UCLA Medical Center, Columbia University Medical Center and the National Cancer Institute where I was an Assistant Research Scientist and co-authored several research publications.  I completed my Master’s in Social Work at  Fordham University in 2001 with a specialization in children, adolescents and families.  I opened my own practice in 2002 and completed extensive training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and Attachment Based Interpersonal Neurobiology.  I currently work with parents to help them navigate their own emotional roadblocks with their teens and adolescents.
