Welcome

Finding the right therapist for yourself or your child is important.

Since it can be overwhelming to find the right person, I want to make that process easier for you.
For the past 20 years, my mission has remained the same– provide the best care possible in two ways:
First, ensure that my clients feel understood and supported.
Second, complete the best training possible to help children, teens and adults heal from loss, anxiety, depression, OCD, social issues, school issues and ADHD related issues.

About Me

I attended Binghamton University as an undergraduate and then worked for 8 years in medical research at well-known institutions including UCLA Medical Center, Columbia University Medical Center and the National Cancer Institute where I was an Assistant Research Scientist and co-authored several research publications.

I completed my Master’s in Social Work at  Fordham University in 2001 with a specialization in children, adolescents and families.  I opened my own practice in 2002 and completed extensive training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) , EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) and Attachment Based Interpersonal Neurobiology.
